Two weeks ago today, SemiDomesticated and our friends at Berg Burg hosted the second—summer edition of The Good Supper, and the evening was nothing shy of exuberant! Sisters, Sophie and Xenia von Oswald, of the newly founded food blog Rocket & Basil, brought a plethora of rich flavors with a Middle Eastern feast, inspired by their upbringing and cooked with love.
Love, in fact, was the key component of this event and it was felt, tasted, smelled, heard and seen throughout all aspects of the evening from the fresh flowers to the welcome cocktail, through the wines, the food and the music, and most of all from everyone who was there to share this evening, and help raise money for the amazing work by the Refugees Welcome network.
With this post, I’d like to extend a huge, big thank you, to all of our partners (complete list below), our guests, and everyone who helped make this evening happen—and last, but not least, to Rebecca Crawford for these stunning photos of the night. THANK YOU!!!
The Good Supper was founded with the wish to give something back to our community, and to our newly arrived neighbors; the growing group of Berlin-based refugees. The aim of The Good Supper is also to create an evening to excite the senses through a carefully curated ambiance, delectable food and drinks, inspiring entertainment and presentations. The event is an opportunity for people from all paths to get together and network, share and converse – all in the name of a good cause.
